Dalam mengidentifikasi & pengembangan talenta dibidang seni dan budaya,pengelolaan SDM unggul dan berdaya saing bertumpu pada inovasi,kreatifitas berbasis khasanah budaya adiluhung bangsa.Penyiapan talenta salah satunya dengan penyelenggaraan FLS2N di tingkat Kabupaten sampai Nasional.
Berkat talenta yang dimiliki anak serta bimbingan guru-guru yang hebat di SPLASMA. FLS2N Tari Kreasi Kab.Magetan,SMPN 1 Plaosan mendapatkan juara II tingkat Kabupaten sehingga berhak mewakili Lomba ditingkat Propinsi bersama SMPN 4 Magetan.
Tak mau setengah-setengah Tim SPLASMA yang dikomandani Ibu Suwartini,pada hari selasa 6 Juni 2023 memilih Kebun Wisata Refugia Plaosan sebagai tempat pengambilan rekaman video tari yang dilaksanakan secara daring. Diawali doa yang dipimpin oleh Bp.Ahmad Efendi serta cuaca mendung dan sesekali turun hujan tak membuat semangat anak-anak luntur. Fasa Tri Anggraini (Kls 8E),Vikensia Anastasya (Kls 8G),Yossie Reviansyah (Kls 7 B) serta pembimbing ibu Nencis dan ibu Erna Yulianti terlihat semangat dan sangat kompak disiang itu.
Panggung yang disetting dengan latar belakang kebun serta hasil dari olahan bambu membuat elok pemandangan. Sebuah karya tari yang menggambarkan hasil olahan bambu/pring dengan kata lain PUPUTAN.Bambu diolah menjadi berbagai macam kerajinan tangan yang berguna bagi kehidupan masyarakat sehari-hari,dengan gerak tangan dan pikiran serta teknik ukir maupun anyaman.Salah satu karya dari bambu yaitu Topeng yang bisa menjadi wadah kesenian dari daerah Magetan.
